Military commander and senior epidemiologist, state chief medical officer, academic center director, FDA deputy director of divisions, duties at the US Surgeon General Office and recently retired as a national policy director at the VA.

Has commanded or led military facilities, and worked in over a dozen countries. Led a14 country course on preparedness in Macedonia.

Over a hundred local to international level lectures, holds two faculty positions as an adjunct associate professor.

Many military awards, distinguished service award at VA, Columbus State University Distinguished Alumni Award, and the Order of Malta from the Military Service of Italy.
